Glazing on Wood
Some people prefer the look of wood
posts and beams on the interior of a
solarium, skylight or window wall.
Glazing over wood presents technical
challenges that, if not properly
addressed can lead to water leakage
and insulating glass failures.
The Skywall R100 system is designed
for installing glass over a wood
sub-structure. All of the benefits
of the rain screen design, low
maintenance, outstanding durability
etc. are built in to
ensure professional results without
the problems. Components of this
system can be purchased either cut
to size or in stock lengths for the
owner/builder to cut and use for the
specific project. A design and
installation manual is available for

Low Maintenance:

All exterior screws are concealed under
snap on aluminum “beauty caps”.
